The end of the year is upon us and approaching quickly. In many ways it's one of my favorite times of the year. Why? Because it feels like I am nearing the end of a race. Looking back I hope I've given it my all and now I get a chance to run a new race

The new year is a blank slate per say, a new chapter in your book and an opportunity to start strong in spite of whether or not you finished out the previous year strong. One of the best things you could invest your time in as the year end approaches is a time of reflection. Escape for an hour or two, snag a cup of Coffee or coco, and bring a journal along!

Here are ten end of the year reflection questions to help you asses as you look to  the new year :

1-) What is one thing you are most proud of from this year?

2-) What are some key life lessons you learned this year that you should carry on the rest of your life?

3-) How did you grow this year? Spiritually, Mentally,  Emotionally, Relationally and Physically?

4-) Who is one key person that invested in you this year? (This is the perfect time to write them a thank you note by the way! )

5-) Did you have a vision/ life statement for what you wanted your life to look like this past year and what steps did you take to embody that life statement? If not, take a moment to develop a life statement.

6-) What are you going to do differently next year than you did this year? What is one area you KNOW you need growth in this year?

7-) What did your self-care goals and practices look like this year? What self-care goals can you put in place for the new year?

8-) If time or money didn’t matter, what would you check off your bucket list this coming year? What goals can you set to make this happen?

9-) What was your greatest fear or struggle this year? What can you put in place to help you conquer this fear next year if you have not already done so.

10-) What needs to be your PRIMARY focus this year in order for you to look back at this time next year and count the year a success?!

11-) Who do you have in place to hold you accountable to move forward? ( This can be a person or a community you are deeply connected to. We all need an accountability partner.)

12-) Overall, How is your health Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally,  Physically? What goal can you set for each of these areas to be more healthy than before?

BONUS.......13-) What were 5 of your greatest blessings this year?

I love to evaluate at the end of the year. Many avoid it due to the fact that they feel like it wasn't as successful as they had hoped. Let this not be mama friend!

Every day comes with blessing inspite of how great a struggle it may be.

Friend, lets finish strong and start our New Year with a drive to grow and blossom as individuals.
